Portable Tripod Riser and Standing Platform

The Expansion Web^TM riser system is designed for those who need the portability of the Spider Pod^TM, but require a larger standing area for cameras with studio controls. Based on a modular concept, The Expansion Web^TM provides many advantages over a traditional riser. The 2' x 2' square panels interlock in a variety of configurations to accommodate the full spectrum of shooting needs. This set of four panels provides a 4' x 4' platform area.

Like the Spider Pod^TM, the Expansion Web^TM is separated from the tripod riser which eliminates any potential shake caused by operator movement. The modules form a platform large enough to accommodate a chair or stool for longer shooting times.

Portability makes the Expansion Web^TM an ideal choice for remote broadcast needs, corporate video departments, and staging companies. It eliminates the need for a staging riser, sets up quickly, and is easy to transport and store. Various configurations are possible for total mobility around your tripod.

The Expansion Web^TM is made of high quality component materials, such as anodized aluminum and a carpeted slip resistant surface. Each modular square is carefully designed to interlock with the others for a strong and stable standing platform. The ability to interlock from all four sides is key to the versatility and portability of the Expansion Web^TM.

The Expansion Web is used in combination with the Tripod Riser TR2 (purchased separately), or, with the Tripod Riser from the Spider Pod system separately (purchased separately).
